Description

Glenlivet Triple Cask Matured Distiller's Reserve was originally launched as part of the company's travel retail offering. The whisky was matured in three different types of casks - traditional casks, American white oak casks and sherry casks. A wonderfully balanced Speysider.

Nose: honeyed, hints of sherry and dried fruit, polished oak, slightly earthy and herbal.

Mouth: dates, almond chips, toasted coconut, shredded wheat, brown sugar, coffee.

Finish: more dates, now paired with fondant and a slight whiff of vegetal smoke.
