Whisky Armorik Sherry Cask Finish 46% 0,7l

Once upon a time, French whisky would have raised eyebrows, but now we've become accustomed to whiskies from all over the world. Anyway, Armorik comes from Brittany, which is culturally and linguistically close to Scotland, Ireland and especially Wales. The name Armorik refers to the old Roman province of Armorica, which included the Brittany peninsula. 

It is a single malt whisky distilled at the Warenghem distillery near the port of Roscoff and matured in old Oloroso sherry casks.

Nose: A red wine flavour balanced with black pepper and fresh orange.

Taste: Chocolatey and rich, with notes of red apple and blackcurrant slowly emerging in the background.

Finish: There is a slight minerality on the finish, although the sweetness of the sherry remains.
