The Aultmore distillery is located in the Speyside area and was established in 1897. As Dewar's used Aultmore malt whisky in their own blends, only independent bottlings were available. In 2014, however, Dewar's first introduced Aultmore 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky as one of the "last great malt whiskies".
Nose: notes of ripe apples and pears accompanied by subtle hints of honey and vanilla with a slightly floral note.
Palate: the ripe fruit is also well expressed in the palate, along with creamy vanilla and milk chocolate.
Finish: long and smooth with full creaminess.
