Description

Released in mid-2018, Old Pulteney's 12-year-old whiskey was matured in bourbon casks, resulting in a strong influence of bourbon sweetness that helps balance the characteristic saltiness of the coastal whiskey. An excellent introduction to Old Pulteney whisky.

Nose: honeycomb, vanilla tablet, soft sawdust oak and oatcake.

Palate: chocolate nuts, mint, citrus peel, marine elements and white pepper.

Finish: caramel, brine and lemon.
