Description

A great basic single malt whisky with no age statement from the Tomatin distillery. Matured in a combination of bourbon and virgin oak casks. This combination of casks brings a light sweetness to this whisky, with aromas of vanilla, hibiscus, pineapple and lemon. The excellence of the whisky is evidenced by its high rating from Jim Murray in the Whisky Bible 2015 - 94.5 points out of 100.

Nose: Lemon, panatella and pine forest. Slightly green with vanilla.

Palate: Cracked pepper and sweet barley with pineapple cube sweets. Waves of warming oak beneath.

Finish: Sweet but peppered.
