Description

Mount Gay XO is a premium rum from Barbados that is characterised by its complexity and balance of flavours. It is a blend of carefully selected aged rums matured for 5 to 17 years in American whiskey, bourbon and cognac barrels. The rum is produced in small batches, distilled traditionally in both copper pot stills and columns, which contributes to its rich, creamy texture. Mount Gay XO retains a typical Barbadian richness with fruity notes of banana, pineapple and berries.

Aroma: Rich aroma with notes of banana, red apples, melon and nuts.

Flavour: Salted caramel, roasted figs, cloves and dark chocolate.

Finish: Medium-long, with subtle touches of tobacco and smoky oak notes.
