Hennessy VS is a French cognac produced by blending more than 40 cognac spirits from the provinces of Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, Fins Bois and aged in French oak barrels from two to seven years. This is one of France’s oldest cognacs (with over two hundred years of history), and is still used as the industry benchmark.
The outstanding Hennessy VS offers a fresh bouquet where engaging notes of oak and vanilla develop into shades of hazelnut and sweetish fruit and floral hues. It captivates the connoisseur with a rich, full taste that creates a velvety floral sense toppled with notes of early fruit while unveiling a whole range of unique flavours with a slightly acrid freshness. The culmination is an intriguing, slightly vanilla aftertaste that literally implores you to take another sip of the drink to dive deeper into its intricacies.
Cognac Hennessy VS is great when savoured separately. The drink is traditionally consumed neat to fully appreciate all the nuances of its taste including the most delicate aspects of its aftertaste. It can be served with meat dishes, cheeses and dark chocolate.
Hennessy VS is simply superb in combination with other drinks, too — you will find many recipes for different cocktails where the drink is one of the key ingredients. If you enjoy cocktail making and inventing your own delicious and interesting mixes, it definitely deserves your attention.
