Description

Glenmorangie's Quinta Ruban 14YO is a fantastic whisky matured in a port cask. The whisky was first matured in bourbon casks, then moved to ruby port casks, which added waves of delicious fruit and chocolate to the spirit.

Nose: summer fruitcake with a dusting of icing sugar, aromatic cedar, milky coffee and almond shortbread.

Mouth: chocolate mousse, bourbon biscuits, orange oil, more almond notes (now toasted), blackcurrants and raisins.

Finish: lingering richness of stewed berry fruit and dark chocolate.
